If the next regeneration of the Doctor is a woman or POC (or both), I hope he/she realized that time traveling to the past is suddenly dangerous and difficult in a way it never was before.
NOT like in “The Shakespeare Code,” which had a really weird “OH MARTHA don’t be silly, people weren’t racist in Elizabethan England.”
More like in “Human Identity,” where racism/sexism was actually addressed.
Companions, as associated with literary/fairytale characters
Considering that I’m the biggest Alice in Wonderland fanboy I’ve ever met, the fact that I adore Donna so much should not be a surprise to anyone.
God I love these kinds of literary tie-ins.
The Martha one kinda gives me shivers… “Having seen the wizards for what he really was”
I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT
Freaking out over every Doctor, but for some reason this makes me miss Nine super bad.
One episode was NOT enough. I was totally on board for her becoming a companion.
(Doctor Who has some of the best 1 timers).
